So much more than a dance school! We are a community brought together through a love of dance.
OUR STORY
The original dance school dates back to the Second World War years when a young ballerina was unable to pursue a professional career due to the war and opened a school instead. Jenny Reeds bought the Knaphill and New Haw schools in 1984 where she began her 35 year career as Principal enriching the lives of hundreds of students by passing on the joy of dance. Encouraging all students to achieve to the best of their ability has always been a core value to the school, and this ethos is shared by Tiffany and Caroline who took joint ownership upon Jenny's retirement in 2019.
ALEXANDRA DANCE CO.
In April 2022, Jenny Reeds School of Dance was renamed after Alexandra, Tiffany’s mum, who was the original influence behind her passion for dance. Having supported Tiffany’s journey from her very first dance class, Alexandra was a devoted mother who encouraged every opportunity dance brought their way. Sadly, Alexandra lost her battle with breast cancer when Tiffany was only 9 years old, but her love of dance lived on through her daughters and her memory continues to be celebrated through the dedication of Alexandra Dance Co. A love of dance and family was integral to the person Alexandra was and these are values we hold close within our dance school community.

Since entering the dance world at 3 years old, Tiffany has been a dedicated dancer and teacher. She loves the joy dance brings to students lives as well as witnessing the friendships made.
LUCIE SCUSE
Tap & Modern Teacher
Lucie attended the original Jenny Reeds School of Dance where she fell in love with dance. She has pursued her teaching qualifications and thoroughly enjoys this new career!

LUCY POOLE
Ballet Teacher
Lucy is a freelance dance teacher teaching RAD ballet, GCSE dance, contemporary dance and creative dance. Lucy’s passion is for creativity and providing a space where children and young people can have fun whilst learning at the same time.
CAROLINE MORALES
Co-Owner
Caroline began dancing at the age of 2, and never looked back! She loves all genres of dance, and her students have only inspired her admiration for the art further.
DANIELA DELARCI
Ballet & Jazz Teacher
As an experienced dancer and teacher, Daniela is passionate about her work and believes in sharing her knowledge with professionalism and love.
HELENA THOMPSON
Senior Freework Teacher
After attending the Jenny Reeds School of Dance since the age of 2, Helena continued her dance training at Roehampton University. She loves teaching new genes and inspiring the next generation of dancer!

All our staff participate in continued professional development to ensure they keep up to date with the most current and effective teaching methods in order to maintain a high standard of teaching whilst prioritising the safeguarding of children.
